 Each presentation is 1 hour in length and counts as 1 formal CPD point.

‘Changing BASIX Sustainability Measures in NSW’ focuses on the importance of considering sustainability requirements at each stage of the building design process. Key themes include:

  • Understanding performance solutions to achieve compliance for 'difficult' buildings
  • Value Engineering: How to avoid double Glazing
  • Architectural dwellings & Residential Class 2 case studies

 ‘Section J Assessments: How to complete a Section J Report’ focuses on the fundamental aspects of Section J Certification through the lens of the architecture industry so that the National Construction Code can be confidently adhered to. Key themes covered in this presentation are:

  • The importance of considering sustainability requirements of commercial building at the design stage
  • The deeper components of Section J 

  • Learning to use glazing and lighting calculators
  • Understanding performance solutions to achieve compliance for 'difficult' buildings
